Barbara was one of the kindest souls. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. In March of 2019 she was diagnosed with cancer. What was supposed to be a simple procedure and a few rounds of chemo, ended up taking her life five months later.
The care that she received at UCLA Santa Monica was nothing short of amazing. The doctors, nurses and support staff treated her with dignity and respect at every moment. In an effort to honor my mom's legacy and ensure that future patients also have access to this level of care we have started this campaign to raise $5,000 in hospital support. Please know that no matter what size the gift, collectively you will have an impact on lives. Whatever gift is right for you, is right for this effort!
Once we reach our goal, a Panel will be installed at the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital with my mom’s name on it. All donors will be invited to a reception we will hold to celebrate the success. At this time I will unveil my attempt at her lemon cake. I’ve got some practicing to do!
