Thrilled to report that yesterday’s recording session and concert were both incredibly successful and a wonderful experience for all! The audience immediately rose to give us a standing ovation! It was so moving to see all of the puzzle pieces come together for this magical event. You were a huge part of this! Lastly, after the concert, Maestra JoAnn Falletta was awarded American Public Media Classical Woman of the Year!

Thank you once again for all that you have done to support our choral department and for all of your help getting us to Buffalo, NY! Here is an update on our trip!!!
We arrived early Tuesday morning... everything went smoothly with the airlines, hotel, and vans. After some rest, we had a wonderful Buffalo-style meal overlooking a creek before we headed to our first choral rehearsal with Joann Faletta and Richard Danielpour.
On Wednesday morning we made it to Niagara Falls... WOW! and explored the area before heading into downtown Buffalo for our first tutti rehearsal with orchestra. Kleinhans Music Hall is amazing and combining the choir with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra was nothing short of spectacular.

We have reached our initial goal of $15,000!

WOW 136 DONORS!!! and 100% of our goal! As a student, it is always fantastic to get 100%!
Even so, we would love to stretch our goal just a bit more by $2,500, to account for some recent updates such as added ground transportation needs.
Why the need for extra funds? Simply put, the hotel accommodations we were originally planning for got booked and the hotel we did secure is not walking distance to downtown and the performance hall. So instead of needing three 12 passenger vans just for transport to and from the airport, we now need passenger vans for the entire week we’ll be in Buffalo.
Therefore, if you still feel motivated to help cover our trip to NY!
