Hello there! We are UCLA Club Track - a student-run track club that gives people an outlet to stay in shape and continue their track careers through college.
We run in circles. Many circles.
But today we're asking you to help us do something a little more meaningful.
As a member of the wider LA community, we find it important to use our resources not only for our club's athletes, but also to extend the joys of running and competing to people for whom such opportunities are less accessible.
On March 8th we will be hosting the second annual Meet of Champions, a track meet for LAUSD special education students who would otherwise face limited opportunities to compete in the sport and most importantly have lots of fun doing so!
How you can help.
In order to keep this event as accessible and enjoyable as possible, the Meet of Champions is and has always been completely free for athletes and schools. Our club is hosting this fundraiser to cover the costs of venue bookings, transportation to and from schools, and the distribution of custom event shirts to all of the student-athletes.
Our student-run track and field club receives little funding from UCLA, and runner dues all go towards regular season costs and coaches. We need YOUR help to get the external funding needed to make 2019's Meet of Champions an even bigger success than last year.

Last year's Meet of Champions was a big success, with over 300 athletes and spectators, an appearance from 8 time Paralympic champion and world record holder Blake Leaper, and smiles and laughter all around.
With a fully tried and tested setup and lots of familiar faces, we expect this year's event to be even better.
Every dollar goes towards costs associated with hosting the meet and creating a memorable day for the athletes.
Your gift of $15 buys an athlete a 2019 Meet of Champions T-shirt!
It's the second year and time for us to upgrade from a paper banner. Your $25 donation will help us to afford a printed banner, which costs upwards of $150.
Your gift of $45 provides one athlete with transportation, a meet T-shirt, and a medal!
The 100 student-athletes expected to participate will appreciate your help in making this year's meet even bigger and better than last year!
If just 20 people were to gift $250 our meet will be funded for this year. Thank you so much for your support!
