When Ruthanne's first grandchild was born, she spent some time in the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at UCLA. She was so impressed with the staff and so thankful that they saved her granddaughter's life that for many years she volunteered at the facility, holding tiny babies to soothe them. Until her death she still kept in touch with some of the staff. This is a life-saving organization very much worthy of our support.
