Hello,
We are the UCLA Spirit Squad and this is our story. Representing three pillars of Bruin spirit (Yell, Cheer and Dance), we engage the spirit of passionate Bruins on and off the field. This has been a phenomenal opportunity to be part of this revered organization, but today, we ask for your help to lay the foundation so that this spirit continues on for current students and future alumni.
Real students are facing real problems, the most important of which is financial constraints. Spending an average of 20 hours per week on the Spirit Squad, this sizeable time commitment makes it difficult for these student-athletes to pursue part-time work. We need you, our alumni and supporters, to help donate to the program and allow these students to pursue their academic goals simultaneously.
Over the last 12 months, your donations have contributed towards our student-athletes' ability to purchase textbooks, afford tuition and help cover housing costs. For 2019, these donations are directed entirely towards scholarships for our Squad and will help these passionate students balance their academic and athletic life while raising the quality of our performances.
