Our crowdfunding campaign has ended but you can still support the IoES Kelp Research Project by clicking here.
It’s Valentine’s Day!
You know what we love? The ocean!
Every donation (no matter how small) will help the team carry out critical research into the health of our oceans here in Southern California.
Our research is expanding the knowledge the scientific community has about seagrass meadows, and will be used down the line to restore seagrass back into the greater LA area!
Even if you can’t spare $1 or more, you could provide valuable help by sharing our project and helping us reach a broader audience! So share, share, share away on all social media platforms you have!
Show your love for our Earth!
Hey everyone!
We're starting off February with another push to try and reach our goals! Every donation gets us closer to being able to go out into the field and research our coastal ecosystems! We're in the process of prioritizing the most important sites for our research, including sites off the coast of beautiful Catalina Island (pictured), where some of the healthiest sea grass meadows in Southern California are located. Please help us out and share our page on social media and to anyone and everyone you know!
Thank you so much for the support of our project!
-2020 Save the Seas, Fish and Coastal Communities Team
Thank you all for the generous support that has come in during our campaign!
As we make our final push through the end of this year, please help us reach our goal by sharing our project (spark.ucla.edu/ocean) on all the social media you have and reach out to anyone you know who might want to contribute to this cause. All donations help us to undertake field work with kay impacts on the future of our ocean and California coastal communities! Our campaign is coming to an end on January 1st so there is no time to lose!
Thank you and get sharing!
