American Indian Studies Center COVID-19 Response Fund

At UCLA’s American Indian Studies Center, we are attempting to make an immediate and direct impact on the well-being of our students by providing emergency grants.

We have already begun providing emergency funding to support our students through this period of unforeseeable financial hardships and unemployment. Yet, there is more need than we can respond to alone. We are kindly asking for your support of our AISC Covid-19 Response Fund, which provides students with funding for:

• Basic Needs: such as rent and food.
• Academic Needs: such as laptops and technological equipment, access to internet hot spots to work remotely, and computer programs like Word and Adobe.
• Transportation Needs: such as gas for cars or a monthly bus pass.

In this moment of uncertainty, our students are facing substantial additional hurdles on top of their studies and school-related obligations. Let’s work together to make sure all of our UCLA Bruins are supported through these difficult times.
