Anti-racism and Mental Health Initiative

“[B]eing an anti-racist should be a selfish act because if the world is more equitable and just for black people and people of color, it's automatically better for [everyone]. This is truly the rising tide that lifts all boats." -W. Kamau Bell

The upcoming graduates of the Class of 2020 ask our community to build towards a common goal. In honor of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and other victims of systemic racism we seek your support in starting an Anti-Racism and Mental Health initiative for trainees in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry. The initiative will support projects that address anti-racism and mental health in the criminal justice system. Please help us reach our $15,000 goal.

With love and solidarity,

Members of Class of 2020
