Hello all,
My name is Valeria Arteaga and I am currently a high school senior. I am a part of the UCLA Mattel Youth Ambassadors program this year and have committed to raising funds that are directed to the UCLA Mattel Youth Hospitals and affiliations of UCLA Health. I chose to be a part of this program to have a sense of what giving back means and help fund its hospital services. I have been primarily making 100% homemade lemonade and selling around my neighborhood. All money raised is gathered to be donations to fund the many UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital patient programs and services. This included the arts and crafts, technological devices, and events that the hospital holds for its young patients. These programs and services are important for patients to feel like they are not alone during their hospital stay, especially with the limited socializing and hospital restrictions there is such as one visitor a day patients have due to COVID-19. All of your contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated to fund these programs.
