Our Crowdfunding Groups
Hi everyone! My name is Hana Thai and I am a Mattel Youth Ambassador. I have pledged to raise $2500 for the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, as well as participate in volunteer activities such as creating Comfort Cards for patients. I am creating this crowdfunding page to reach my donation goal. I have also been making and selling jewelry to friends and family, with all proceeds personally donated to the Mattel Youth Ambassador fund, as another means to reaching my goal.
I originally got involved in the Mattel Youth Ambassador Program in order to try and help patients in any form I could due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. I really liked how this program offered a solution by allowing students to help contribute to the hospital despite not being there in person. I found this especially crucial because the pandemic has created conditions where hospital visitors have been limited in order to help protect patients. However, this can create a gloomy or isolated environment for these children, which is why I ask for you to help support my project.
Your donation will directly support the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. From there, funds will be allocated through the Child Life program to help purchase art supplies, care kits, and other items that will help patients feel less alone during this unprecedented time.
