Giving Tuesday: Zuri Adele Fellowship 2023

November 28, 2023

Back in 2020, amidst local and global calls for action to protect Black bodies and uplift Black voices, TFT launched our first-ever Zuri Adele Fellowship crowdfunding campaign. You and others supported that effort and made a meaningful contribution to the work being done at TFT to elevate talented HBCU alumni and allows them to pursue careers in entertainment and diversify the industry, both on and off-screen.

In those few years since, we've had the chance to speak to some of our recipient scholars about the impact of your generosity and the Zuri Adele Fellowship.

This year, we are hoping to raise $5,000 for the fellowship and we need your help

Striving toward equity within a diverse array of aspiring performance artists is especially necessary at UCLA TFT. With your continued support, we can make top-tier graduate fine arts education more accessible to HBCU alumni beginning with UCLA TFT. Our goal is to expand Zuri’s efforts and mission with your help and take this award to new heights for generations to come!

Can we count on your support again this year? In honor of Giving Tuesday today, please click here to make your gift today and share the link via social media and with your friends and family.

We did it!
