Our Crowdfunding Groups
I have been involved in the UCLA community since I was little as my Dad attended Anderson Business school. I used to go to the Statue Garden every Sunday as a child with my family and run up and down the steps. That being said, UCLA has been in my family for a while. Now that I go to Marymount and can see UCLA from the window of every one of my classes, I have started to consider it more for college and other medical aspects. I have always wanted to become a doctor or somehow work in medicine, so when I heard about the opportunity to join the Mattel Youth Ambassador program, I was very interested. The program offered everything that I wanted as a student thinking about becoming a doctor, which includes a background in different professions in the medical field, presentations from specialists, and overall a better understanding of what being a doctor really entails.
All of these aspects convinced me to apply for the program, and I was thrilled that I was accepted. To fundraise for my project I have chosen to use the crowdfunding technique and set up a Spark Page. Other people should support my project obviously for the cause of donating to the Children's Hospital, but my friends and family know how dedicated I am to things like this, and they know that I will make sure that this money is going towards changing a child's life.
