Our Crowdfunding Groups
Pathway at UCLA Extension is a 2-year program that provides a blend of educational, social, and vocational experiences to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our students are fully engaged in the UCLA campus while receiving specialized instruction and support. We believe that all individuals have the right to pursue productive lives as valued members of the community. Our goal is to help our students prepare for independent living and employment by providing individualized support and a high quality educational experience within the UCLA community.
The tuition costs for a student to attend for 1 year is $33,400, not including room and board expenses. This is not only a significant amount of money, but even more challenging for families who have been met with the burdens of paying for various types of therapies, balancing family lives, and even in some cases, being told that their child will never go to college.

Every year we have a small handful of very motivated students offered admission into our program who end up declining admission due to our high financial costs. By helping us reach our fundraising goal of $25,000, you will be helping us increase the amount of scholarship money that we have available to award for next year.

We love what we do, and we are all so passionate about being able to provide educational opportunities to young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is so amazing to see the growth in all of our students in the 2 years they're with us. We hate to see anyone leave because of financial strains.
