Hi everyone! My name is Connor and I am a Mattel Youth Ambassador (MYA) at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. I have set a fundraising goal of $1250 to help the hospital purchase art supplies and fun activities for kids that are staying at the hospital. I could use your support!
The MYA program provides the opportunity for high schoolers to learn about the medical field while also contributing and supporting programs that make hospital stays for kids more pleasant. I have firsthand experience with this because my little sister had to have multiple surgeries when she was a baby and it was nice how friendly and inviting the hospital was to us. There were always toys to play with when we went to her appointments and when she went in for her first surgery, they gave her a stuffed dog which we still have. I know how scary and lonely it feels for kids to have to go to the hospital so it's nice to be able to have toys and games so they can have fun or not feel as scared.

All proceeds raised from the sale of my glass art and other donations will be used to directly support the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. These funds will be collected to help provide patients with art/activity kits, birthday celebrations and holiday festivities, as well as offer fun activities for patients not to feel alone, bored or scared.
