Hello fellow Bruins,
My name is Pat Petersilia, and I am hopeful you'll join me in supporting one of our campus' greatest needs with a gift to the UCLA Fund.
Everyone’s reason to give is situated firmly within the context of their lives, and infuses deep personal meaning to their donations. I myself graduated from UCLA in 1971, after paying my own way through school as a transfer student. In those first years as an alumnus, I connected to UCLA through my love of sports. I was a football season ticket holder for years, and over time, began to explore the endless opportunities to do more with my philanthropy. My connection to UCLA has changed and evolved many times, but investing in the excellence and innovation that this university is known for has always been at the forefront of my experience as a donor.
The more I become involved with UCLA through philanthropy, the more I recognize it as a front-row seat to the inspiring and innovative initiatives that the UCLA fund makes possible. Whatever your connection to UCLA, you can see the demonstrated commitment to building a stronger, more united community of Bruins. The UCLA fund is campus-wide, giving the university the means to address real-time issues and ensure our core Bruin values are woven through all areas of our campus.
No amount is too small to make a difference—my first gift to UCLA as a young alumnus was just $25! Contributions to the UCLA Fund are directed by campus leadership to address the current highest priorities across campus. The collective power of each of us giving what we can and coming together in this way is truly beyond measure.
