Founded in 2019, the Luskin Undergraduate Student Association (LUSA) is the premier organization for undergraduates of the Luskin School of Public Affairs. Our club aims to support and engage Public Affairs undergraduates as they navigate through their educational endeavors. Hosting events such as networking and volunteer opportunities, we hope to deepen Luskin's community ties while providing our members with a holistic preparation for their futures.
Although LUSA and the Public Affairs major are newer to Luskin, we are quickly becoming a strong member of the Luskin community. Donations to our organization would help us further our mission of supporting Public Affairs majors by uplifting our association’s programming, which includes career-networking events, volunteering opportunities, policy discussions, professional workshops, peer-mentorship, and more. These events and programs are crucial for our club members to engage with the Luskin, UCLA, Los Angeles, and greater region, while being a part of a supportive and tight-knit community of like-minded students.
LUSA Spotlights! What does your donation go towards?
Volunteering Events! Our commitment to service and involvement in community engagement allows members to interact with the world around them. Whether it be field trips to food banks, volunteer day, or club-based projects, your contribution will support our efforts to build service-minded leaders!
Career Panels! LUSA's professional development opportunities help support undergraduates discover their passions and career aspirations! Our signature career panel brings out respected professionals from across policy, law, government, public affairs, social work, and so many more areas!
Mentorship and Social Events! LUSA is all about community! From art, study socials, to mentorship initiatives, your donation will help us strengthen connections between undergraduates and foster community within Luskin!
Workshops and so much more! LUSA has so much to offer for undergraduates, and is a resource and outlet for students to connect with each other and the department.
