Dear Bruin Family,
The SoCal Rival Week Challenge has come to a close, and we couldn’t be more proud of this amazing Bruin community! We received an outstanding 735 gifts and raised nearly $30,000 worth of support for our Bruin Marching Band.
While USC edged us out this time, regardless of the outcome, this challenge was about celebrating the strength of our Bruin community. Your unwavering support demonstrated Bruin pride and brought us all together during this exciting week. Every single one of your gifts made a difference and will go towards providing essential resources for our UCLA Marching Band.
In fact, your generosity inspired UCLA Marching Band alumnus Wayne Adachi ’71 so much that he’s decided to unlock his challenge gift even though USC recieved the most gifts this year! Not only did your efforts help raise almost $30,000 AND unlock a monumental challenge gift, but we welcomed more than 400 unique individuals to support the campaign last week!
Thank you to everyone who participated. Whether you made a gift, shared the challenge, or cheered us on from the sidelines, you showed up for your community, and that’s what matters. Your dedication is what makes being a Bruin so special.

We're back with another update on the head-to-head stats for SoCal Rival Week. USC currently leads the challenge with 314 gifts. Yesterday was a massive day of support for the Bruins, nearly 100 gifts have come in since our last update! We need to keep the momentum up!
