Help us mark the end of an era for UCLA Luskin's Urban Planning department when Distinguished Professor Donald Shoup retires May 30.
Donald Shoup Retirement Celebration
When: Saturday, May 30 • 6 p.m.

Celebrate the achievements of Professor Donald Shoup as we honor 41 years of service to UCLA's Department of Urban Planning.
Admission: $100 donation*
All proceeds benefit the Donald & Pat Shoup Endowed Fellowship in Urban Planning.
In a party that is sure to match his impact on urban planning, we'll be celebrating Professor Shoup in a fitting UCLA location -- on top of Lot 32, in the heart of Westwood. Join Donald, Urban Planning faculty and staff, and alumni and students as they celebrate Professor Shoup's legacy with the skyscrapers of Wilshire as a backdrop.
Your $100 donation* to the Donald and Pat Shoup Endowed Fellowship in Urban Planning gives you complimentary admission to the festivities.
*$50 for urban planning alumni from the classes of 2012, 2013 and 2014. Current UCLA Luskin students attend for free.

We just had amazing news from Don and Pat Shoup!
Even though we've hit our goal, they've agreed to continue matching ALL DONATIONS 2-to-1 that are received by May 30, 2015, the date of the retirement celebration!
This is fantastic news, and means even more funding for future urban planning students focused on transportation.

The day is upon us, and for those of you attending tonight's festivities, we'd like to remind you of some important details.
Event Date: Saturday, May 30th
Celebration Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
*Tribute portion begins at 7:00pm and festivities will end promptly at 8pm.
Event Location: Atop UCLA Parking Lot 32 (1070 Veteran Avenue, LA, CA 90095)
This location is entirely outdoors.
Parking Options:
Lots 32 & 36 - $12/car - pay attendant on-site
Lots 32 & 36 - $8/car – pay-by-space machine (limited spaces with this option)
Bicycle Valet – FREE, located in Lot 36
Note: No parking will be available on the roof of Lot 32, but there is a drop off area for those requiring assistance.
Dress Code:
Business casual, or “parking lot business casual.”
