I recently joined the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health as an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology.
This March I'm running the 2018 LA Marathon Sea Charity Challenge (about 13 miles) to raise money to support summer fieldwork fellowships for UCLA Masters of Public Health students. Summer fieldwork is an essential component of earning a Masters in Public Health: students apply concepts learned in the classroom and gain valuable work experience, while also providing important service toward improving population health.
