Hello!

It's been awhile, but we'd like to thank you once again for helping us achieve our 2018 fundraising goal, and we'd like to update you with what we accomplished! Because of your generosity, we were able to send 13 athletes to Atlanta for Nationals where we had one swimmer place 16th in the 50 yard butterfly. We were also able to host the biggest home meet we've ever held, with over 200 swimmers in attendance this past December, and it went off without a hitch thanks to our new timing software. Please be on the look out for more news from UCLA Club Swimming as we gear up for Nationals this spring.

Our campaign officially ended today, so thank you to everyone who donated and spread awareness! With your help we raised a total of $4,310, beating our original goal by over $1,000 and our stretch goal by over $500. This has been Club Swimming's first crowdfunding campaign, and we're so excited and happy with the final product to which everyone contributed.

We are committed to helping our swimmers reach the highest level of competition and with this successful campaign, we will be able to do that, as well as improve our meets at home. Thank you again to everyone who donated, and be on the look out for your perks if that applies to you. Go UCLA!

Yesterday, 2/19/18, we reached our goal of $3000! Thank you to everyone who contributed to the campaign. With 12 days left in our campaign, we decided to increase our goal to $3500. The extra money will go towards hiring a professional to work the timing equipment for our home meets. This will make our home meets run smoother and more efficiently. Previously, our officers would do this, and when it did not work, they would scramble to fix the problem. This would lead to delays in the meet and negatively affect every swimmer's experience there as well. The professionals we hire would know exactly how our equipment works and how to fix problems as they arise, allowing the meets to run uninterrupted. Thank you again for helping us reach our initial goal, and we know that we can reach our new goal as well!

After only 1 week,  we are 86% towards our goal, and it is all thanks to our amazing donors. Thank you so much for your support and donations! We know that we will easily be able to reach our goal of $3000. The money we received thus far will allow us to start booking flights and accommodations for Nationals while keeping the fees low for our swimmers. As more money is donated, we can further subsidize the fees, making Nationals more accessible for all our swimmers. Thank you again for all your support!
