Thank you so much for your donation to UCLA Radio’s 2018 fundraising drive! Whether you’re a radio alumnus, parent of a UCLA Radio DJ, student-media aficionado, or any other member of our community, it’s people like you who make our station and content possible.
After nearly five years — due to the COVID-19 pandemic and changes internally to the organization — we are excited to bring back our Winter fundraising drive. Our station is long overdue for maintenance and upgrades in nearly every capacity, including our cameras, microphones, turntables, and carpets.
Despite challenges to the organization during COVID and the following years, we are now over 150 members strong, maintaining our 24/7 stream and 125 weekly programs, and getting even deeper into L.A.’s music scene through our events, concert reviews, partnerships with other LA organizations, and online blog.
I would be so grateful if you could take a look at our active fundraiser, which is running between January 17th and February 16th, and consider making a gift. We’re aiming to raise $7,500, which would greatly transform our daily operations and content production — you can see a breakdown of this budget on our fundraiser’s home page.
Your gift to UCLA Radio this year, during our first fundraiser in five years, would have an immediate and long-lasting impact on our station. Any amount will help amplify Bruins in broadcasting and is completely tax deductible.

As you may have noticed, we reached our initial goal of $15,000! Thanks to your generosity, we will undoubtedly continue to thrive, and will soon have the resources to ensure that we can provide the best sound quality possible to our expanding base of listeners. We are forever indebted to your kindness. With the tremendous momentum created thus far, and with 13 days left in our campaign, we have decided to stretch our goal $5,000 more, raising our goal to $20,000. Your support has made us dream big and want to make things we initially thought were out of reach a reality.
What we will be able to do with the addition of our stretch goal:
$5,000 LXE Digital Radio Console - With our stretch goal, we hope to completely fund purchasing a new soundboard for our station. The money raised so far has allowed us to make a sizable step towards realizing this dream, but the extra $5,000 we hope to raise will make that dream a reality!

We are thrilled to announce that within a week of launching our campaign has already raised over 75% of our goal! In fact, we were able to hit 75% so quickly that we didn't even get the chance to update you at 50%. We as a station are extremely grateful for all of the generous donors that have lend their support to us thus far. We're so close to hitting our goal!

We are excited to announce that less than 72 hours after our launch, we’ve already reached over a third of our goal! We are incredibly grateful to all who have donated and spread the word about our campaign. Your support during these past two and a half days has shown all of us here at UCLA Radio that this station, and what it stands for, means as much to others as it does to us.
While we are thrilled with this progress, we aren’t quite there yet and still need your help! With only 25 days until our campaign comes to a close, and $9,255 still left to raise, your continued support is paramount to helping us reach our goal.

Your $25 donation will go towards purchasing decorations to liven up our In-Station Performances. As a thanks, we'll give you some student-designed UCLA Radio stickers and buttons! (A $17 tax deductible donation).

With your $1000 donation, we will be able to purchase a new banner and signs to help get the UCLA Radio name out there!
