This is only field hockey's 5th year as a part of UCLA Club Sports, and second year as a member of the Western Collegiate Field Hockey Conference. Support us in our ambitions to continue competing and become further recognized by UCLA!
UCLA Field Hockey is a group of dedicated and talented student-athletes brought together by our love for field hockey. Our team creates a sense of community, helping students to connect with a diverse group of players, and form friendships and skills that will last long past our time at UCLA. We just completed our second-ever season as part of the Western Collegiate Field Hockey Conference, and are aiming to make it into the playoffs next year! We are looking for your help to support our goals, and are hoping to raise $5000 to cover the costs of new equipment, gear, and travel expenses.
Due to your generous gifts in our 2022 fundraiser, we were able to purchase gear, practice equipment, and most importantly -goals! Thanks to your incredible support we hosted our first-ever home games this past fall, and competed as official members of the Western Collegiate Field Hockey Conference. In just a couple of years, we have grown from a small group of girls scrimmaging amongst each other into a competitive team, and we are so proud of how far we’ve come.
In the upcoming year, we hope to do even more. Our success on the field has resulted in a huge increase in numbers, with our team expanding to home nearly double the amount of players we had last year, and becoming co-ed! Being able to spread our impact in the UCLA community has been amazing, and we want to continue to support our players with the best possible resources. As a relatively new team, we do not receive any financial support from UCLA; we are asking for your help to support our growth both on and off the field.
We really appreciate your support in furthering our program! We are so excited for the upcoming season, and a donation of any amount will help to take club field hockey to greater heights than we could have imagined. Thank you so much, and GO BRUINS!
