Our Crowdfunding Groups
The UCLA Hockey team has been a tradition on campus since 1926. Originally a division 1 program, World War II forced a downsize in the athletic department's budget and resulted in the end of UCLA's status as a division 1 hockey school. The team is now almost entirely player funded and plays in the PAC-8 conference (essentially the PAC-12, but a few schools don't have programs).
Over the past two seasons, our donors have enabled us to transition to a new rink at Pickwick Ice in Burbank and to purchase brand new blue Under Armour jerseys (seen below) after the athletic department signed a new deal with Under Armour. The success the team has enjoyed these past few seasons would not have been possible without your support!
This year, we need your help with getting our team to its road games. The team will be travelling to Tempe, AZ to play ASU, Spokane, WA to play Eastern Washington University, and to Lake Tahoe, CA in February for the PAC-8 conference playoffs. In all, the team will be travelling over 4500 miles this season. As you can see from the graphic below, travel expenses account for over 1/4th of the budget and limit our ability to invest in ice time. Every dollar raised through this campaign to assist our travel budget directly results in more on-ice practice time for this team. With 15 rookies on the team this year, our ice time is extremely important in developing chemistry and allowing us to reclaim our position as champions of the PAC-8.

Donate $10 to help us jump start our travel!
Donate $20 to sponsor the baggage fee for the hockey bag of one of our players on the flight to Spokane this January. In return, we will send you a video of our players thanking you for your donation.
Donate $100 to sponsor the airfare of one of our players for the trip to Spokane. In return, we'll invite you to sit in a special VIP section of Pickwick Ice at any one of our home games. We will also personally thank you over the loudspeaker during the 1st intermission ($90 tax deductible donation).
Donate $250 to help sponsor the hotel rooms for our trip to Lake Tahoe. In return, we will invite you out to one of our practices to go behind the scenes as the team prepares for its upcoming match-up.
Donate $500 towards our total travel expense this year and receive one of our yellow UCLA Hockey jerseys. ($350 tax deductible donation)
Donate $1,000 to cover our full travel to one of our 3 big road trips this year to Arizona, Washington, and Lake Tahoe. In return, we'll send you one of our yellow jerseys. We will also send you a personalized thank you video from the team! ($850 tax deductible donation)
