Hello friends of the 70th Anniversary, it’s been a while!
Back in 2019 you made our Spark fundraising campaign a massive success. Together, you raised more than $205,000 for our program as we celebrate our school's rich past and our bright future.
Because of your support, the UCLA School of Nursing will educate highly skilled bedside nurses, advanced practice nurses, nursing faculty, and health policy leaders by providing resources which allow them to develop their skills within a cutting-edge environment and meet opportunities which will enhance their learning.
This May, we launched a new Spark crowdfunding campaign with the goal of 300 donations, kicking off the Bruin Nurse Challenge, celebrating what it means to be a Bruin Nurse!
The UCLA School of Nursing has a long-standing tradition of excellence. We are proud of our programs, our faculty, our students, and our alumni. As steadfast supporters of the UCLA School of Nursing, you know better than anyone how valuable the teachings and trainings received at UCLA Nursing are in the real world.
Whether you are a Bruin Nurse or a supporter of a Bruin Nurse, please share your Bruin Nurse pride by making a gift in support of an incoming student. Please consider making a gift of any size to the UCLA School of Nursing General Scholarship Fund so we can continue the most important work of creating great Bruin Nurses!

It’s National Nurses Week! National Nurses Week was established to celebrate and elevate the nursing profession. Each year, National Nurses Week begins on May 6th and ends on May 12th – the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
The theme this year for National Nurses Week is “Nurses: 4 Million Reasons to Celebrate.” Since the UCLA School of Nursing was founded 70 years ago, over 8,000 individuals have graduated and have served as leaders in clinical practice, science, education and advocacy. We celebrate you—our alumni and friends— as part of that 4 million!
We are overjoyed by the positive response received so far on the crowdfunding campaign for the UCLA School of Nursing Innovation Fund –reaching over 73% of our goal!

Donations of $360 can provide a UCLA Nursing student with the required pre-licensure lab pack, containing bandages, syringes, and IV equipment!
Your donation can provide UCLA School of Nursing students with board preparatory exams like the Kaplan Nursing Integrated Testing Program NCLEX-RN, which is a requirement for graduation.
Your leadership donation of $1,000 or more not only supports the Innovation Fund and UCLA School of Nursing, but also qualifies you for recognition at the Chancellor's Society donor level.
