We've donated 40 blankets to the babies and their families in the NICU at Cedars-Sinai! Thank you again to everyone who made this blanket donation possible by donating to our campaign last year. 

We also have some exciting news! CBS2 and KCAL9 News have created a segment on Camille Ng (creator and president of Hugs in a Blanket) and all the work that Hugs in a Blanket has been doing. The segment is called "People Making a Difference" and it will be airing today (2/13) at 6pm on CBS2 and again at 8pm on KCAL9. Before 2019 came to an end, we received a special thank you note in the mail from a foster child who received one of our blankets at the Foster Children's Resource Center! (Please see attached.) This adorable thank you note is for all of you who made our blanket donation possible. Thank you again for giving these foster children a special gift this holiday season. Happy New Year!

It’s the holiday season and our handmade blankets are being handed out at the Foster Children’s Resource Center! We were able to go to the center for the last two Saturdays and see the kids pick out their favorite ones. It is so heartwarming knowing that these blankets are being loved and helping these children stay warm this winter. One little boy that I helped was so excited when he got to pick out his blanket. I asked him if he wanted a blanket and he shouted with joy “Blanket! Blanket! Blanket!” as he ran to back where our blankets were displayed. He looked around until he found a blue one with sharks on it and had a huge smile on his face as he picked it up and hugged it. Because of you, our handmade blankets are able to bring warmth and joy to these foster children this holiday season. Thank you again for all your support and happy holidays!

We are so excited to announce that we have raised $5,525 in just one month! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your generous donations and for sharing our campaign with your friends and family. Because of your support, we are able to donate to the Foster Children's Resource Center this holiday season! This means EVERY CHILD who comes to the center in December will get a new, fleece blanket! Since we also reached our stretch goal, we will be donating our blankets to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's cancer patients as well as their Pediatrics Department. We could not do any of this without your help and we really appreciate all your support for our club. Thank you again for helping us show love and care to our community in need!!

We are so excited to announce that we have reached our goal of $4000! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to our campaign and made this possible for us. Because of your support, every foster child who comes to the Foster Children's Resource Center in December will receive one of our handmade, fleece blankets this holiday season! Since we still have 14 days left in our campaign, we decided to raise our goal to $5,500. The additional funds raised will go towards donating our blankets to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
