To our Donors and Supporters!
We just wanted take the time to thank everyone again who has donated to our campaign! Each and every donation is extremely appreciated and very much felt by our entire squad! Once again, this campaign is for the 2019-2020 UCLA Club Softball Team to be able to travel to both Arizona and San Diego this season. Anything extra that we raise will go towards keeping costs of dues affordable for next season and any other team expenses including replacing equipment, booking fields, and paying for umpires. Our team just had a bi-week this past weekend, but we are preparing to play NAU next weekend if the weather permits it.
As of Feb. 3, we were fortunate enough to reach our campaign goal of $2,500! We are happy to announce that our team has currently raised $2,638, reaching a whopping 105% of our total campaign goal. Our campaign still remains open as our project end date is not until Feb. 5th. However, if you, your loved ones, or any of your friends would still like to support UCLA Club Softball we would greatly appreciate it. We are so grateful for everything you've done for us, as again, all extra funds will go towards other team expenses that we must manage throughout this year and next. We just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has donated to our campaign! It is very much appreciated and all of your support truly means a lot. This campaign is for the 2019-2020 UCLA Club Softball Team to be able to travel to both Arizona and San Diego. Anything extra that we raise will go towards keeping costs of dues affordable for the next season and any other team expenses including replacing equipment, booking fields, and paying for umpires. So far this season, we beat USC's club team 2 out of 3 games, in which we lost one game in extra innings. And this past weekend, we went 3 for 3 against UCI's club team! We are so proud of our team and hope to continue this strong record as the season progresses.
We currently have raised $1,167, reaching a whopping 46% of our total campaign goal. We are so grateful for everything you've done for us, and would appreciate if you could continue to send our link to your friends and family to help our team reach our goal. As always, we are aiming to win our conference, to become regional champions, and compete at Nationals. Keep a look out for any and all updates on our journey through this season. We'll be traveling a lot this season. Gas money will be a big hurdle for us. Your donation of $5 will get us about a gallon of gas, getting us that much closer to San Diego and Arizona!
Your donation of $8 means we can pay for one ball. We are always losing them!
Our players will need to eat after playing 3 long, back-to-back games. Your donation of $12 will help pay for dinner for one of our ladies!
Because our team is filled with 18 Bruins, we will need 2 fleet vans. It costs about $80 to rent one fleet van to transport 8 Bruins. Your donation of $20 will get us 1/8 of the way there!
Our team equipment is slowly building up, but most of our players still have to contribute their personal equipment to be shared. A donation of $30 could buy our program a new helmet for the team.
Our team plays hard and loves to look good while we're doing it, representing UCLA all the way. Your donation of $50 will help pay for one of our players jerseys!
Our umpires come out and manage our games for an entire weekend, ensuring we are safe. With a donation of $60, we are able to pay one umpire. Help us keep them happy!
It is about 465 miles from UCLA's campus to Flagstaff, Arizona. Your donation of $65 will pay for the gas of one van fleet filled with 8 of our Bruins traveling from campus to our series in Arizona!
Traveling to Arizona and San Diego will require renting out motel rooms to stay overnight. You donation of $80 will help put up four of our players for the night!
For home series we must reserve fields for an entire day. Your donation of $150 will pay for 1/2 of the cost of field reservations. It all helps!
A weekend spent as a visiting team can quickly add up. Contributing $400 could help pay for one night of lodging for our entire squad's three-game away series!
