Luskin Undocumented Masters & PhD Student Support Fund

At UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, part of our student body are undocumented individuals, most of whom are first generation and come from low income families. In this unprecedented time, they need our help to relieve the financial burden COVID-19 brings upon them.

Already these students face adversity, but with the pandemic, they have been hit harder now more than ever. Many have lost their jobs and do not benefit from the government stimulus. On top of that, undocumented students are not eligible to receive federal financial aid and not all have work authorization. In addition to supporting themselves, some also contribute financially to their households. 

Your support can help these talented Master’s and Doctoral students bridge the gap during this particularly challenging time, allowing them to purchase books, pay for tuition and fees, and manage the high cost of living in Los Angeles. Your gift helps alleviate financial stress, so these students can divert their attention to learning how to make an impact on the world with a UCLA Luskin education.
