2011 National Championship winning team Our UCLA Women's Golf program is regarded as one of the very best in college golf. With 3 NCAA Titles, 10 Conference Championships and a 115 tournament wins in our 42-year history, there are few schools that can top our accomplishments.
We have bounced back from a lean 2021 season of 6 team members to a squad of 10 this year. With only five spots available on our traveling roster, the competition amongst our players is fierce, pushing our golfer’s games up another level. We return two-time All-American junior Emma Spitz, as well as PAC-12 honorees Annabel Wilson, Yuki Yoshihara and Emilie Paltrinieri. Redshirt sophomore Ty Akabane and redshirt freshman Alessia Nobilio have already made a huge impact in our roster and are currently leading our team in competitions. Local standouts and true freshmen Zoe Campos and Caroline Canales bring a wealth of talent and experience to the team and have cracked our line up in every tournament so far. Things look very bright for our program and we are excited to get to work and make our UCLA family proud.
2021-2022 UCLA Women’s Golf TeamWe are a great source of pride amongst our UCLA alumni and supporters due to our continued success on the golf course and in the classroom. However, this Pandemic has threatened the way we run our program, with our operating budget cut by 15%. Costs continue to rise due to safety protocols for travel and testing, coupled with the cancellation of our annual golf tournament fundraiser, we are in desperate need of your support to give our student-athletes the Bruin experience that they have earned.
