UCLA Men’s Ultimate Frisbee was born in 1996, and ever since has been a program that exemplifies integrity, competitiveness, and community.
Competing in tournaments across the country and consistently finishing near the top of the Southwest region, the UCLA Men’s Ultimate Frisbee team hopes to continue to compete at the highest level in the 2021-2022 season. Through competition, community, and most importantly fun, Men’s Ultimate gives players, returning and new, a supportive environment to grow as people and as athletes.
Like most club sports at UCLA, Men’s Ultimate is largely self-funded and strives to limit financial barriers for all players. In the spirit of community and in hopes of growing the sport, Men’s Ultimate prides itself on being the cheapest club sport that travels. After a year off of competition, the Men’s Ultimate program is ready to get back on the field and compete.
For UCLA Men’s Ultimate, this year is different from any other. Due to the abrupt cancellation of the 2019-2020 season due to COVID-19, there is a postseason series of tournaments happening in the fall that normally only happens in the spring. This series is a “make-up” season for the season lost to COVID-19.
This new season brings an exciting new opportunity to play, but also new and unforeseen costs. On top of that, with new restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19 in place, our normal transportation and lodging costs have skyrocketed.
With your help, Men’s Ultimate can provide the opportunity to play at a high level, have fun, and build community for every interested UCLA student. Through this campaign, we hope to be a part of a larger project to grow the very under-developed sport of Ultimate and increase the visibility of our club to the broader UCLA community.
Specifically, your donations will go towards transportation and hotel rooms for tournaments, the bid fees to play in those tournaments, and equipment (mainly discs, cones, agility ladders) to ensure we are prepared for those tournaments.

We can’t win tournaments, if we can’t get to tournaments. With this donation, we can rent a car so our entire team can make it to the game!
With the Intramural field flooded this quarter, we need to rent our own fields once a week to practice on. With this extra practice, we will be able to push our team to a higher level!
