As we reflect on last year, we are grateful for you!

One of the significant highlights of the past year was certainly Undergraduate Research Week 2022, which showcased the research and creative inquiry of more than 4,000 UCLA undergraduates, mentored by over 1,000 of our talented faculty. Our annual URW Speaker Series explored topics such as the intersection of art and science, a personal journey through academic research, the fusion of research and entrepreneurship, and more.  Our virtual Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase featured the research and creative projects of nearly 1,400 students.

The impressive creativity and dedicated work of our undergraduates demonstrates why UCLA is the #1 public university in the country, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Last year’s URC Spark giving campaign smashed through our goal and raised nearly $13,000 to directly support undergraduate researchers at UCLA.

With Undergraduate Research Week 2023 right around the corner, we invite you to join our growing URC community in supporting this year’s inspired undergraduate researchers. With your help, we can make our week-long celebration and showcase of research better than ever.

To friends, family and community members - we are so grateful for you. Your dedication and generosity means more students can participate in undergraduate research opportunities, gaining invaluable mentorship and experience to set them on their path.
