Our crowdfunding campaign has ended, but you can still support UCLA's Homeless Healthcare Collaborative by clicking here.
The homelessness crisis in Los Angeles can feel overwhelming. In one way or another, all of us have been touched by it. For those of us who live in L.A., we see our homeless neighbors all around us – outside our local stores and businesses – often passing them by. Even when you want to create change, it can be hard to know where to begin.
At UCLA Health, we know the needs of our unhoused neighbors can’t wait. People experiencing homelessness are more vulnerable to serious medical conditions. Left untreated, these conditions can often create additional barriers to accessing other services that could help improve their lives.
The UCLA Health Homeless Healthcare Collaborative provides urgent care, primary care, psychiatric care, addresses chronic medical conditions, and offers referrals to housing and social services. If you live in L.A., you may have seen our vans, which travel directly to people experiencing homelessness to provide vital medical care.
Your donation of any size will go to work immediately, providing clinical services for men, women, and children living on the streets. This care, offered at no cost to the unhoused patients we serve, would not be possible without contributions from our community.
Thank you for your support. UCLA Health is dedicated to providing outstanding health care services for everyone — no matter where they live.
