Who Are We?

UCLA Men’s Club Water Polo is a nationally top-10 ranked club Water Polo team that provides a home for both experienced and inexperienced players looking to have a fun time and further develop their water polo skills. After placing second in our league last year, we were excited to return to the pool and compete in tournaments against schools from all over California. We ended up placing 2nd overall in our league in a tough championship game against Cal Poly, who went on to the championship game at Nationals, and, next season, we are excited to achieve our ultimate goal of winning our league for a chance to compete at the national level! 

How You Can Help:

Although UCLA Club Sports does a fantastic job of assisting us, we are a completely student-run club. As a result, we depend on donations and internal funding to cover the costs of our tournament registration, travel expenses, and athletic equipment. These costs can add up to substantial amounts and we do not want this financial burden to prevent our team from competing or discourage players from joining our team. This is where we need your help! Your generous contributions allow us to support all of our team members in both the competitive and recreational realms of water polo while maintaining athlete club dues relatively low, thus promoting the most participation possible. 

Allocation Of Funds:

We are looking to use the donations to help ensure that the club can continue to operate smoothly and provide our student-athletes with the best experience possible, ranging from replenishing our equipment, renting out pool space for practices, and keeping club dues affordable for all athletes. Your generous donations will provide the team with lodging, adequate transportation, and the ability to compete in invatational, regional, and national tournaments. Along with that, your lovely donation will help ensure that our club will continue to provide our athletes the opportunity to compete for years to come.

We are grateful for all of your support! With the generous donations from our last campaign in 2022, we were able to pay for lodging and transportation at our championship tournament in Cal Poly. We were able to afford team polos for all of our players. We also participated in a postseason tournament at UC San Diego and were able to fully reimburse our drivers for all of our events.
