Who are we?
We are the Biomedical Engineering Society at UCLA, an organization that offers students unique hands-on experience in designing and engineering biomedical devices. Our technical project team members are the future of biomedical innovation and tackle some of the biggest challenges facing society. 
Creating Novel Solutions
Beyond our commitment to training and challenging our students, BMES technical projects produce incredibly creative solutions to ongoing problems in the biomedical space. These projects include, but are not limited to: a therapeutic glove for treatment of Parkinson's disease, a drug delivery vehicle for delivery of insulin for diabetic treatments, and a smart knee brace for diagnosis and monitoring of various knee pathologies. Our program is vital for creating engineers that can transform current treatments for diseases and afflictions threatening the health of the population.
How can you help?
To have as much freedom as possible in our engineering efforts, we will need to purchase materials and tools for building prototypes. This year, we expanded to four amazing projects, making your donation even more impactful.

If you donate $50, you will receive a card from the technical project you have supported complete with pictures of them working on their prototype throughout the year! AND you will receive all the previous perks. ($45 tax-deductible donation)
If you donate $150 you will receive a BMES T-shirt for the 2023-24 year! AND you will receive all the previous perks. ($135 tax-deductible donation)
If you donate $250, you will be invited to attend one of our test days for our devices. We will provide you with all-day parking on campus. ($235 tax-deductible donation)
If you donate $500, you will be invited on a private UCLA campus tour. We will provide you with all-day parking on campus. ($485 tax-deductible donation)
If you donate $1000, you will be invited to attend our annual Demo Day, where our technical projects can present their prototypes. We will provide you with all-day parking on campus. ($985 tax-deductible donation)
If you donate $1500, you will receive either a custom 3D printed object or an engraved wooden gift. ($1495 tax-deductible donation)
