_{Making Little Bruin Wishes Come True Every Holiday Season!}

Since 2015, donor support to UCLA’s Students with Dependents program has granted the holiday wishes of thousands of UCLA families. The program’s Little Bruin Wishes holiday campaign connects the UCLA community’s support to our parenting students and their families who may otherwise struggle to fulfill their children's holiday wishlists. 

Now, the need is greater than ever as many families, big and small, are struggling due to the challenges of meeting basic needs, increased living expenses, and family responsibilities. 

Your gift will ensure that UCLA parenting students don't have to choose between meeting basic needs and providing holiday cheer to their Little Bruins.

We Need Your Help to Spread Holiday Cheer!

Thanks to the generosity and strength of our community, this program gives Bruin families the peace of mind they need to enjoy the holiday season while pursuing their dreams at UCLA! With our goal of $20,000, donations to the Little Bruin Wishes campaign ensures that parenting students are not forced to choose between budgeting for their education and providing holiday gifts for their Little Bruins.

On behalf of my family, I would like to sincerely thank you for your generosity. Pursuing my degree at UCLA while caring for my four young children has been challenging, to say the least. Before I received your donation, I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull off giving my kids a memorable Christmas. I am filled with gratitude for the major part that you played in making that happen. I want them to learn and understand the value of kindness and generosity, and your help was a perfect example of what I’m trying to teach them. The Students with Dependents Program provides support to parenting students throughout the year, through scholarships and emergency funding, mental health services, and one-on-one counseling. Pursuing a higher education degree is a challenging task for most, but the gaps in access and equity is increased significantly for students who are parents.
