The UCLA Quadball Team, formally known as Quidditch, is a student-run, gender-inclusive sport sponsored by UCLA Club Sports. The sport is moving away from its wizarding world roots and forging its own unique identity through various name and rule changes. Composed of almost 25 student-athletes, our players juggle practices and tournaments on top of full course loads and other extracurricular activities. While our players share a drive for athletic competition, we also enjoy hanging out with each other on and off the field. Throughout the year we host a variety of social events like board game nights to supplement the tournaments.

In the 2023-2024 school year, we are a smaller team and are focusing on training the younger generations of Quadball. Nevertheless, the new players are shaping up to be stars on the field, and with the guidance of returning players and passionate leadership, we are excited to see how this season goes. We’re bruin up something special this year. Entering into the winter and spring months, we are excited and ready to face Eastern and Midwest teams in the USQ Cup 2024 in Round Rock, Texas to re-establish our place as a Western region powerhouse.
After months of training, UCLA Quadball is ready for qualification for our eleventh trip to compete in the US Quadball Cup this April, in Round Rock, Texas. We are looking forward to putting our hard work to the test against top teams in the nation this year. Unfortunately, the cost of such national level playing comes with a not-so-college-friendly price tag.

Our previous nationals' attendances have cost around $10,000. This year we are looking at a similar cost. With airfare, rental cars, hotels, and tournament fees, we are estimating a cost of over $500 per player for the trip. With college expenses taking priority for our players, we need your help to play the game we love! We would be devastated if one of our roster players could not make the trip due to financial obstacles.
We wouldn’t be able to annually compete at the national level without the endless support of our donors throughout the years. Once again, we are calling on you to help alleviate the financial burden on our players’ budget and send all 21 of our roster players to proudly represent Bruin Pride on the pitch!
With this year’s fundraising campaign, we are seeking to raise $5,500 to help offset half the cost of nationals for our players. We hope that with such donations, our players can focus on the sport without worrying about how to afford the cost to play. We are confident that your donation - no matter the amount - will help us reach our goal. Every dollar donated will directly benefit our players.

Any donation, big or small, means the world to us. If there is a different amount that you feel is more fitting for you, we encourage you to donate a custom amount and leave a message for who its for.
We cant play well if hungry. A $10 donation will cover the cost of a meal for a player on the trip.
Each tournament request a fee to attend. With a $25 donation, you can cover these tournament fees for a player.
With all major travel ventures, there is bound to be bumps, changes, and unforeseeable issues. This donation will be put to use covering all of these complications.
Get us to the tournament effectively. A $75 donation will cover one players portion of a rental car for the tournament.
Help us get a good night sleep before our big games. A donation of $150 covers the cost of hotels for one player during the trip.
Just like the brooms we use, help us fly to the tournament! Flights are easily the most expensive part of the trip, however this donation will help provide a roundtrip plane ticket for one player.
