Our crowdfunding campaign has ended, but you can still support the Black Law Students Association by clicking here.
The Black Law Students Association (BLSA) at UCLA Law is committed to providing students with the academic resources and network to succeed before, during, and after law school. The BLSA Scholarship expands the organization's impact by opening the doors of access and opportunity for the brightest students who are committed to racial justice.
Your gift to the BLSA Scholarship will ensure exceptional students can attend and flourish at UCLA Law, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Since its founding in 1968, BLSA has been committed to investing in the lifelong success of UCLA’s Black law students. Lifelong student success includes helping prospective students navigate the law school application process, tutoring for first-year exams, and BLSA alumni mentoring 1L and 2L students.
In 2019, in partnership with alumni and supporters like you, BLSA created a scholarship fund to grow financial support for incoming law students with a demonstrated commitment to racial justice who plan to continue their work during and after law school. BLSA scholars are likely to serve in a leadership role within the organization during their time at UCLA Law.
Your gift to the BLSA Scholarship enables these exceptional scholars to fully engage with all aspects of law school and learn more about how they can be advocates for racial justice. Be part of UCLA Law's unwavering commitment to equality of access and opportunity by providing scholarship support to students like Grace. Since its founding, 14 students have benefitted from the BLSA Scholarship and have gone on to be impactful members of our legal community. With your support, we can support a scholar next academic year, please make a gift today!
