WHO WE ARE
UCLA Field Hockey is a group of 24 dedicated and talented student-athletes brought together by our love for field hockey. In just 6 years since officially joining UCLA Club Sports and 3 years in the Western Collegiate Field Hockey Conference, our team has grown from a small group of girls scrimmaging each other into a co-ed competitive team and we are so proud of how far we come! Marking this growth, we've reached a significant milestone: assembling a dedicated coaching staff for the first time!
Our team creates a sense of community, helping students to connect with a diverse group of players, and form friendships and skills that will last long past our time at UCLA. We feel so lucky to be brought together by this club and have such a strong team culture.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
Due to your generous gifts in our 2023 fundraiser, we were able to pay for new gear, uniforms, travel, and most importantly - OUR COACHES! Thanks to your incredible support we were able to increase our team size and were able to place 3rd in our league - an overall 62.3% increase from the 2022 season.
In the upcoming year, we hope to do even more and make it to playoffs! However, we do not receive any financial support from UCLA; we are looking for your help to support our goals, and are hoping to raise $5,500 to cover the costs of new uniforms, field hockey goals, travel expenses, and coaching staff.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Your support is crucial to our success! With damages to our current field hockey goal, we urgently need to acquire a new one to host home games and remain competitive in the Western Collegiate Field Hockey Conference.
As our team continues to grow, so do our needs. Your donation will not only go towards purchasing new field hockey goals but also towards funding our exceptional coaching staff, acquiring new jerseys, and covering travel expenses. These resources are vital for sustaining our momentum and ensuring our players have the support they need to excel both on and off the field.
