Abigail Bline

My name is Abigail Bline and I am a first-year PhD student in the Molecular Toxicology Interdepartmental Program at UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health. I am excited to be joining the FSPH Marathon Team this spring in running the Sea Section of the Los Angeles Marathon’s Stadium vs. Sea Charity Challenge. This will be my first half-marathon and I am looking forward to getting to know my fellow team members and learning from their experiences.

I joined the Marathon Team as a way to become a part of the FSPH community and to stay motivated to integrate healthy exercise habits into my new PhD student routine. I am also pleased to be raising funds to support other FSPH students in achieving their public health goals. Your financial contribution will help provide grants to FSPH master of public health students working on their field studies. These grants allow all students the opportunity to pursue field experiences wherever their interests lead them, from the local community to the other side of the globe.
