Our Spark Campaign has officially come to an end! In a span of 30 days, we were able to raise $4,555, which is a lot more than our original goal of $3,000. We are overwhelmed by your generous donations and support. Without your involvement throughout the campaign, we would not have been able to come this far. By helping us exceed our goal, you will definitely make a huge difference in the lives of the people in Polillo, Quezon Province this coming summer during PCH’s medical outreach trip. Rest assured, your efforts will go a long way in bridging the gap between the people of Polillo community and accessible healthcare.

We will make sure to keep you updated on the planning process and the actual medical mission trip in June. Two days ago, we posted an update about reaching our goal of raising $3000 just a week after we launched our Spark campaign, which was originally scheduled to run for 30 days. Even after reaching our target, we still continued to receive generous donations from friends and family. We are truly overwhelmed with the amount of support we are receiving and we are excited to announce that we are stretching our goal to $4500!

Originally, we were planning to give $250 scholarships to 7 of our volunteers to subsidize the cost of their plane tickets but since the launch of our Spark campaign, more volunteers became interested in joining the medical mission. If we reach our new stretch goal, the additional $1500 will help us give at least $300 scholarships to 10 volunteers and increase the budget allotted to purchasing medical supplies and medicine for the mission trip.

Again, we are extremely grateful for your support and we hope that you continue to help us reach our new goal by sharing our link to your friends and family.

P.S. To kick-off our new goal, we made a video from PCH's medical mission in Alabat, Quezon Province, Philippines last summer. We hope that with this video you realize how big of an impact you can make in the lives of many people by supporting our cause.

We want to say "maraming salamat po!," which means "thank you very much" in Tagalog, to everyone who has been supporting us since the start of our campaign. It's only been a week since we launched our campaign with UCLA Spark but because of the overwhelming support that we received from donors like you, we have successfully reached our goal of $3000! This will go a long way towards providing medical services to the underserved community of Polillo in the Philippines. We want you to know that you are a part of this project as much we are, so we will be posting updates as we continue to plan for the mission trip!

Last Sunday, we had our annual Medical Outreach Banquet, which has been PCH’s long lasting tradition that celebrates our club’s legacy of service as well as raising awareness for the upcoming medical mission in June. We had over 50 guests, consisting of PCH alumni, staff, members, family, and friends and we all enjoyed Filipino awesome food and great performances! It was truly a great avenue to connect with others and share to them our passion of bringing healthcare services to those who need it.
