These are a just few of the startling conclusions researchers at the UCLA Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies have learned as they launch the Hollywood Diversity Report, a landmark study on race and diversity in entertainment.

Since the release of the report's first phase last February, it has generated national and international media attention, and has led to conversations with major networks and studios about how to improve diversity both in front of and behind the camera.
