Thank you for visiting my UCLA Spark page! As many of you know I am a first year Environmental Health Sciences student at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. As part of the Masters of Public Health program that I’m in, we are required to apply what we’ve learned in the classroom to the real world during a summer practicum. These fieldwork opportunities offer invaluable experience for students to learn while working to improve the health of local or global communities. However, funding for these opportunities can be scarce which is why I am running in the LA Big 5K and partnering with the Fielding School of Public Health to raise money for fellowships for this summer fieldwork!
