My name is Ergueen and I’m an MPH student in the Community Health Sciences department at UCLA’s Fielding School of Public Health (FSPH). I been participating at different 5K for a few years now, however this time is different and I'm excited to help in any way!
As a student, it’s well known that you spend much time learning in the classrooms but going into the field will provide you with real-life experiences!! Fellowships for summer fieldwork enable FSPH students to take on impactful summer training opportunities that may not offer compensation. This helps our students translate classroom learning into real-world skills and helps communities in need. This is a win-win for everyone!
I am running with Team FSPH to raise money for fellowships for summer fieldwork so that my classmates will have the opportunity to participate in meaningful fieldwork experiences this summer.
Together, we can help make possible summer training opportunities for FSPH students! Your donation will help enable our FSPH students to go into different communities and do work that can contribute to their knowledge of public health and at the same time, help communities in LA County, the nation, and the world.
