Our crowdfunding campaign has ended but you can still support the UCLA Latino Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship by clicking here.
The UCLA Latino Alumni Association (ULAA) endeavors to provide significant and meaningful support for our future Latinx scholars and community leaders. Latinx students make up 22% of the student body at the #1 public University. Join us in supporting the next generation of Latinx leaders and change-makers with a gift to the UCLA Latino Alumni Scholarship fund.
As the cost of college increases nationwide, Latino Alumni Scholarships help UCLA recruit and cultivate some of the nation’s best Latinx students.
When awarded a UCLA Latino Alumni Association scholarship, our scholars can pursue aspirations better aligned with their personal passions and the evolving needs of an ever-changing society. ULAA scholarships reduce the amount of money students need to borrow and work off during school. This allows students to explore their passions both inside and outside of the classroom, such as:
Not only does our scholarship offer better financial resources that empower students to fully immerse themselves at UCLA, but it also creates a community for our Latinx students to feel welcomed and supported. We understand and know first-hand the obstacles our scholars may face and we devise programming to help them successfully navigate through their educational pathway.
Our scholars become a part of the ULAA network that offers mentorship, networking, and career-building workshops that prepare our future community leaders for life outside of UCLA. Plus, your donation to the ULAA Endowed Scholarship Fund is a gift that keeps on giving for years to come.
Vital to the future of higher education, scholarship endowments sustain the University even through tumultuous economic climates, serving as a permanent way to award scholarships in order to recruit gifted students.
We need YOU to help us reach our goal of 100 donors to celebrate UCLA’s 100th birthday! Join us in making a gift of any size to take us one step closer to reaching and surpassing our goal!

According to a New York Times article, UCLA creates upward economic mobility for its students. When college graduates gain greater economic status, their communities, the economy, and all of us prosper. In fact, more than one-third of undergraduates earning a degree were first-generation college graduates. Help us create opportunities for many others.

*Gifts are managed and invested in accordance with UCLA’s endowment investment policies. The total return earned in excess of the amount approved annually for payout will be retained in the endowment principal to protect from the effects of inflation and to allow for growth. At the Chancellor’s discretion, when the payout is not needed for purposes of the fund, the return of payout may be added to the endowment fund principal. In the event the fund does not reach endowment minimum; or the program ceases to exist at UCLA, proceeds from the fund will be utilized in an area and manner as closely related as possible to the original intent and purposes for which the fund was established.
