We’ve made it to the finish line! The UCLA SPARK campaign has been a huge success, thanks in no small part to all of you, our community! Thanks to your generous donations, the AMP! program will help provide a solid foundation for five new high schools to engage 1,500-2,000 more high school students in impactful and empowering sexual health education through AMP! in 2016-17. SPARK funds will directly support training and mentorships for High School Squads, as well as transportation, supplies, and food to nourish the hard-working arts-activist youth. SPARK will also help produce the 2nd Annual 2016 High School Sex Squad Festival!

After meeting so many inspiring LAUSD high school students at Saturday's Project U, we're even more excited to support and launch more High School Sex Squads! Help foster a space where new voices can emerge to further address taboo topics. The money raised will provide youth with the tools to connect with their voices, engage in crucial conversations, take action to make healthy choices, and access existing resources in their schools and communities.

Current Sex Squads such as Taft, San Fernando, Hollywood, Fremont and Wilson High School Sex Squads are thriving and growing! Reaching our goal will allow us to mentor 10 more high school sex squads!! Our AMP! program is growing! The Sex Squad movement is gaining momentum and empowering young people across the city. Support this SPARK campaign today and YOU will nurture an all-new High School Sex Squad. This group will include members from under-resourced LAUSD high schools. Together they will train, make art, and build a plan of action to launch squads back on their home campuses this next school year.

Last night the UCLA Sex Squad launched this SPARK campaign at our big Valentine’s Day show.  The audience generously responded. We’ve reached 36% of our goal.
