Dear Amazing Donors and Fans of the UCLA Bruin Marching Band -
It's #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving back, expressing gratitude, and paying it forward. We're grateful for you, today and EVERY DAY. Nothing gets us more pumped up than seeing you on the sidelines at the Rose Bowl or in the stands at Pauley. Thank you for everything you've contributed thus far.
Today, on #GivingTuesday, we're humbly coming to you one more time to ask for your help. One last challenge is on the line, and it's going to get us to our goal of $100,000.
If we can secure 100 donations today, on #GivingTuesday, a donor will give $15,000.
We're already at 39 gifts since midnight, which means we only need 61 more gifts of ANY SIZE in the next 11 hours.
There are plenty of amazing causes to support on #GivingTuesday, but, if you're a fan of the UCLA Bruin Marching Band, we'd love your help in closing out our campaign today on this international day of giving.

WOW. UCLA Bruin Marching Band fans - it's been incredible to see the level of commitment you have have shown to our crowdfunding campaign in the last 6 days during the Blue and Solid Gold Challenge.
Because of you, the $10,000 challenge gift was unlocked, bringing the total raised to a whopping $79,412! TWO DAYS EARLY.
Because of you and over 100+ new donors, the finish line is WITHIN SIGHT - only 21% left to raise! WITH FOURTEEN DAYS LEFT!

Thank you to our newest donors. As of today, we are less than 39% away from the finish line!! We are so incredibly grateful to see the support from our Bruin community, and are thankful to have you on this journey with us.
UCLA Marching Band supporters - another challenge has been brought to our attention, and we need your help to spread the word!
As part of the UCLA Blue & Gold Challenge, which seeks 3,800 donors to make gifts of any size, to any area of campus, before the UCLA vs. USC football game, an unnamed donor has stepped up to propose the UCLA Blue & Solid Gold Challenge!
This means that we need all the help we can get in promoting the UCLA Marching Band crowdfunding campaign until our appearance at the game next weekend. You've already done so much by contributing, but if you're willing, help us spread the word about the UCLA Blue and Solid Gold Challenge! Donations of any size - even $1 - count in the challenge. Help us get to 274 donors by Saturday, 11/23 by telling your friends, family, and any Bruins or Bruin fans you know.

We are grateful for everyone who stepped up and helped to unlock the $25k matching gift from Peter and Yuki Dames. Not only did you double the impact of your donation, but you've made it possible for the band to travel to at least 7 home games next season!

UCLA Band members pull together their look with signature white gloves, which cost about $8 a pair. As a thank you for your gift, you'll get a special video of an 8-clap from the Band that's JUST for donors.
$21 buys a band member's "Centennial Year" Band baseball cap that they can wear to keep the sun out of their eyes during outdoor events/performances! As a thank you, we'll send you a video of the band performing in full Centennial gear.
At UCLA basketball games in Pauley Pavilion, The Band wears custom polo shirts which allow them to play in style. These cost roughly $27, so to thank you for your gift, you'll get a shout out on the UCLA Bruin Marching Band Facebook page!
Donations of $100 in honor of the UCLA Centennial are a great way to show your support for The Band as well as your Bruin Pride! For your donation we'll send you a special UCLA Bruin Marching Band 'wallpaper' for your phone!
Your donation of $240 helps cover the extra costs of hosting UCLA students for band camp before the quarter starts. As a way of thanking you, we will give you a UCLA Bruin Marching Band sticker so you can showcase your Bruin pride.
The UCLA Bruin Marching Band takes the field and hits the road in style, but that doesn't come cheap, with the total uniform cost being around $495. As a way of thanking you, we will send you a video of a song dedicated just to you + a UCLA Bruin Marching Band sticker. (tax deductible gift of $494)
The Bruins may not always win, but The Band outperforms our rivals every time. $800.72 sends four band members to the Bay Area for our annual trip to either Cal or Stanford! As a thank you for your gift, we'll be sending you a UCLA Bruin Marching Band hat. (a tax deductible gift of $789)
*LIMITED TIME PERK* We're bringing the UCLA Bruin Marching Band to your tailgate! If you're planning on attending the UCLA Football games on either 10/26/19 or 11/2/19 and support our campaign at this level, we'll acknowledge you at our pre-show performance. With 266+ hungry mouths to feed, The Band racks up lunch costs quickly. $2926 buys the band lunch during a home football game. As a way of thanking you for your donation, we will give you a UCLA Bruin Marching Band shirt, hat, and sticker. (a tax deductible gift of $2,908)
Although our student musicians love their instruments, sometimes they break after years of use and $4,808 pays for an entire year's worth of costs to repair and replace things. So, for your generous gift, we'll reward you by giving you a drum head, signed by every member of the UCLA Bruin Marching Band, a shirt, a hat, and a sticker. (a tax deductible gift of $4,787)
$6,810 is the cost of transportation to our home games! No other band in the country has to PAY close to 7 Grand just to get to their HOME STADIUM! For $6810 you can help the band get to the Rose Bowl for a home football game! To thank you for your incredible gift, you'll get to have lunch with Kevin, the Director of the Band, a shirt, a hat, and a sticker. (a tax deductible gift of $6,772)
$11,036.76 pays for the band to rent its equipment truck to haul instruments to and from home football games at the Rose Bowl for a whole season! To thank you, you'll get the grandest of perks we're offering - spelling your name out on the field at the Rose Bowl, lunch with the Band Director, a shirt, a hat, and a sticker.
