Dear Alumni and Friends,

We are sincerely humbled. When we set a goal of 100 donors to support the emerging needs of UCLA Dentistry students, we were unsure of how philanthropic priorities may have been shifted in the wake of COVID-19. Once again, our UCLA Dentistry family has proven their gratitude and commitment to giving back in support of the future leaders of oral health care.

Since the start of this campaign in April we have raised over $32,000 from 101 donors. Your support was instrumental in helping us reach our goal and  this campaign could not have been a success without you.

We are thrilled to welcome our students back to UCLA Dentistry next week and invite you to stay connected with the School in the upcoming months. On Friday, September 11, 2020 Dean Paul Krebsbach will hold a virtual Town Hall to provide updates from the School. Please keep an eye out for registration details in the coming weeks. $2,500 Matching Gift Secured

Dear Alumni and Friends,

Our sincere thanks for your gifts to the School of Dentistry COVID-19 Response Fund. We are grateful for our UCLA Dentistry community’s support of our students and their emerging needs during this unprecedented time.

The announcement of Rene and Dora Rivas’ generous offer to match gifts made to the campaign on #GivingTuesdayNOW, dollar for dollar up to $2,500, was met with a surge of support from our community. Since announcing the match, we increased our donor count by 26 – to a total of 67 to date, and we raised over $12,000 – an average of $478 per donor. We know the Rivas’ confidence in our efforts inspired many of you to give, and we are grateful to count all gifts towards or goal.

We are now just 33 donors shy of our goal of 100 donors. In addition to your generous support, you can help us reach our goal by continuing to share our campaign page as our COVID-19 Response Fund campaign ends on June 30.
