After an outpouring of support on Dr. Takei’s behalf, the minimum fundraising goal has been met in order to formally establish the endowed Symposium in his honor.

It is with the generous contributions of the UCLA Dentistry community that the initial goal of $250,000 was surpassed within the first 30 days of this campaign. This support ensures the Dr. Henry H. Takei Periodontal Symposium will bring together UCLA Periodontics alumni, graduate residents, dental students, and friends from all over the world to learn from world-renowned experts in the field of Periodontics for years to come.

The opportunity to be a part of this effort in Dr. Takei’s honor is far from over, as there is still time for UCLA Dentistry faculty, alumni, staff, and friends to participate with a gift that is meaningful to them.
