That's a wrap!
Since the end of our Spark campaign, we finished off our season by attending two exciting races.
On March 26th and 27th, we took a trip to Tempe, Arizona, to attend the Arizona Dragon Boat Festival! Both boats paddled hard, Blue placing 4th in the Collegiate A and Gold earning a solid 3rd in Collegiate B.
Back at our home turf on Mother's Beach, Baby Long Beach saw Blue with 1st in 200m B Sprints. Additionally, both Blue and Gold made it into Mixed B Division!
Thank you all for your support! Our motivation and placements are a direct result of your contribution. Stay tuned as we train diligently for our Vancouver race coming up this summer!

WOW THANK YOU!! We were able to hit our first stretch goal of $3,500 from all of your help!! Our team is so grateful for all of your love and support.
With practices on and off the water in full swing, we are working hard towards our race in Vancouver this summer! Reaching our first stretch goal will help fund race registration costs. With 9 days left of our campaign, we will be further boosting our goal by $1,500! Hitting this new stretch goal will help us offset the costs of flights for our paddlers. Plane tickets impose a large financial barrier on our paddlers, and as a student-run team, this would greatly reduce the financial burden.

INCREDIBLE!! Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our donors, we have reached our initial $2,500 goal in the first 12 days of our campaign!
Our team is extremely thankful for everyone’s kindness and support, and promise to work hard in our journey to Vancouver this summer. Give water to a paddler to prevent dehydration throughout the race weekend!
Feed one meal to a paddler to provide nutrients and optimize a paddler’s performance.
Cover the cost of two sunscreen bottles to protect our team from the sun’s harmful rays!
Buy a new paddle to keep racing equipment up to par! A team member cannot race without a paddle. Paddles up!
Provide a place to stay for one paddler to ensure a good night’s rest for the race!
Cover our team’s registration fee for one boat to compete in one division at the festival!
