THE HISTORY

Founded in 1926, UCLA Ice Hockey is one of the oldest clubs on campus. Entirely player funded, the team competes with the other teams in the PAC-8 Conference every year. Not many people know about our team, but the players are dedicated and our reach is growing. We are beginning to see huge crowd turn out and an increased interest in our organization. The goal of this program is to follow other club teams and become an NCAA D1 program in the next 10 years.

THE WHY

It all starts with our new rink. Pickwick Ice is an upgrade from our past rink and gives us the chance to look better and more professional as a club. The costs are higher and there are much more upfront expenses this year as we aim to get new jerseys and new coaches in a drastic effort to climb the ladder to becoming a prestige team.

THE HOW

And now we need you to help us get there. Already burdened by our tuition costs, players struggle to keep the team afloat. Yet, they still show up to every game and every practice looking to improve and win. Please join us in our growing effort and we hope to see you at a game this year! Our perks are designed to help you grow as a fan. We want to see YOU out at games wearing UCLA Hockey apparel! We want your friends and family to learn about our program and help grow the sport not just at UCLA, but in California! ​

THE RESULTS 

The program thrives on alumni support and continues to be a community of friends, family, and teammates. With your help we can do what we do best and bring you a winning season. With the burden of keeping the lights on hanging over the heads of our officers, sometimes playing takes a backseat. We want that to change. Through your donations we will give you everything from a facebook shoutout to a jersey and picture with the team, as we want you to be a part of our family. With players from all over the country and even the world we are always looking to make our fans and players all feel at home. So join us in growing UCLA HOCKEY and GO BRUINS!!
