Our crowdfunding campaign has ended but you can still support the UCLA Ralph J. Bunche Library and Media Center by clicking here.
After a hiatus, our library reopened in 2022. We are grateful for your support in reopening.
At UCLA’s Ralph J. Bunche Library and Media Center, every month is spent celebrating cutting-edge Black visionaries across various fields- from tennis legends like as Arthur Ashe to civil rights leaders like Ralph J Bunche. Together, our students, professors, and community members are studying achievements and contributions by Black people, which may otherwise be lost or overlooked.
Situated within one of the oldest and most esteemed ethnic studies research centers in the country, and led by one of today’s most celebrated Black historians, Kelly Lytle Hernández-- we are uniquely positioned to preserve and honor Black history. This is part of our objective as a library fully dedicated to the study of Black life.
Thus, would you considering making a gift to UCLA’s Ralph J. Bunche Library and Media Center during this Black History Month? Our library is a resource that extends far beyond the walls of UCLA and your gift today will help us support the next generation of Black visionaries.
We are grateful for everyone who is helping us to make our library as impactful as possible, as we reopen our doors and get into our new routine. Thank you!
